Passion for ProMarkers Week 33

I cannot seem to keep track of time, it just flies by way to fast. But I have to say I love everything that is going on around me. I'm just hoping all the good stuff will contintue to happen through out the whole year! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And onto this weeks challenge at the PASSION FOR PROMARKERS blog, we have a sketch and a theme for you of LOVE / VALENTINE. And here's my inspiration card:



I have colorured the FF motive in light pink to match the papers and also made the be my valentines text with just the markers and traced the lining around it. Easy piecey :)

PfP - Weekend Workshop

FOREVER FRIENDS TUTORIAL

I made this tutorial for this Fridays's Weekend Workshop.

Seeing as I love the Forever Friends stamp I wanted to share a very basic tutorial with you on how I coloured my newest bargain! For this tutorial I have used the following colours: Oatmeal, Apricot, Blossom, Rose Pink, Primrose, Soft Lime, Lemon, Yellow and Ice Grey 1. I start of by colouring in the smallest spots on the image in round circle motions. (with the lightest colour tone, in this case Oatmeal) I then move on to colour the larger areas, continuing to use circular motions with my marker. When I have covered my whole image I add a darker colour (Apricot) where I want my shadows to be. When I have added the shadow, I go over the area with my lighter colour (Oatmeal), still in circular motion so that the edge of the darker tone blends with the lighter one. I repeat this step until I've cover all the areas I want to high light with these colours. I also add a line of grey around the whole image to give it some more life. Here I have used Ice Grey 1. I use the same steps to colour the gift box, using one light colour and one darker, in this case - Blossom & Rose Pink for the bow, Primrose & Soft Lime for the box and Lemon & Yellow for the tag. September is a hectic birthday month in my friend and family circle. This card is made for my good friend Monica.

I'm submitting this card to the Kortgleder's home alone party. I have used Lena Katrines sketch from this weeks Sukkersøtt challenge (but I remember after posting the card that I cannot combine sukkersøtt, so I'm just submitting it to Kortgleder)

Friday Sketchers - Kristines Sketch

Here's a card I made for Friday Sketchers. The sweet Kristine has made this weeks sketch so I had to join, and the sketch was so great leaving room for creativity. I made some bad stamping on this one so I had to cover it up with some flowers on the left hand, I was too tired to do it all over again. Hehe. But anyways, here it is:



Hope you all have had a great day. Tomorrow is another day closer to the weekend and some days off to relax. Yesterday there was a winter activity day at the kindergarten I'm at this week and all the adults and kids were still tiered today. So off to bed now to get some beauty sleep and be ready for a new playful day! :) Good night :)
