CCT - 3ndy X-mas card

 I made a X-mas card tonight using the gorgeous new papers from 3ndy Papir. I just love how Gudrun has captured the feeling of a good old fashion Norwegian X-mas with the whole line. I made this for the Cute Card Thursday challenge "Play on Words", even though a X-mas card might be as dull as I can get for the theme.. :p

Cute Card Thursday - New beginnings

This weeks challenge over at CCT is new beginnings, and since I had promised my neighbour to make a wedding card for them this was a great oppertunity to get my crafty but in gear! And this is how it turned out:

Recipe:

• Stamps: NorthStar - Wedding set, personal stamp.
  
• Pattern Papers: A old MME paper from stash.
  
• Embellishments: Half pearls, metal charm, metal butterflies, ribbon from Kremmerhuset, flowers from Panduro and Prima,
• Tools: Scissors, QK Squeeze
  
• Medium: Tim Holtz Crackle paint - Lavender, Tim Holtz distress ink - Vintage photo. Glue.

3 in 1

Good evening/night

Tonight I made a card that actually fits three (3) challenges, I wanted to enter it in a forth (4) but they don't allow combining so maybe I'll make another one for that tomorrow. I made card with the papers from MME, I think the colors are so fantastic and I wish I had a life time of the Bloom & Grow series :)

This is how the card turned out:

I have used Bazzill CS, MME Bloom & Grow DP, Magnolia stamp paper pieced and colored with ProMarkers: Blush, Dusky Pink, Sandstone, Cinnamon, Cocca, Apricot, Cool Grey 1,2 and 3, Spellbinders nestie label two, Melissa Frances rubons, Prima flowers, MM brads, ribbon colored with ProMarker: Apricot, corner emelissment from Nille and personal stamp.

I know many of you are in love with the vintage style and for all of you I recommend you have a look at Joachim's Photoblog to see a great vintage shot from the Volkswagen show we went to in Sweden. I grew up with the movies and still have a soft spot for the car in this picture ;)

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 54

Today my Aunt Grete was here for a visit and we tested out some easter boxes. They didn't turn out so good so there wont be any pictures of that. But with the scraps from the box project I made a card that was perfect for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, citrus colors. Hot Pink, Lime, Lemon and Orange, and all my scraps had that. I made the front window with a transparent sheet and a piece of design paper in the back. Added some Prima flowers and American Craft thickers and wolla a card from scraps :) The inside of the card says Happy Easter in Norwegian. I'm going to give this card to my grandmother as she is in the hospital and not very well. Anyways, here's the card. Let me know what you think and have a great weekend! :)

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 51

I made these two cards with the sketch from Cute Card Thursday. Its their 1st anniversary so pop on over and check out their fab prices this week!! :)

I'm giving these away next weekend for some twin friends of mine! Looking forward to the party :) There's going to be loads of summer friends there, I usually only see them during summer time when we go to old beetle shows during the season. And in the winter time we all just stay inside :p

Gratulerer..!

Idag har jeg laget ett gratulerer kort. På kortet har jeg brukt en side fra en salmebok som jeg fikk av Mor(farmor). Idag tenkte jeg på Joachim mens jeg lagde kort og da ble det ikke så mye stæsj og dæsj, han mener jeg klæsjer og dæsjer litt mye til tider :D Korter slenger jeg inn på Cute Card Thursday som har en "Music & Dance" utfordring. Da kommer salme arket godt med :)

Bilde er tatt i den hjemmeladge lysboksen som vist i tidligere innlegg og med den nye 50mm og ekstern blitz som kom i posten idag. Blitzen er satt ovenfra så ble ikke de skyggene som jeg har en tendens til å få. Joachim sier jeg må bare prøve og prøve til jeg skjønner hva jeg driver med jeg og :) Øvelse gjør mester. Nå er det en softbox på gang i god hjemmelaget stil. Selvgjort er velgjort :)

Ett Trykk "Trykkpressa" November! / CCT

Men jeg så jo nå at en kun skulle bruke to farger + valgfri stempelfarge, og det hvite båndet mitt ødelegger vel litt for det, men mjølk og brød i samma påsa, jeg sender det inn. Hehe. Invitasjoner til kortkveld hjemme hos meg, sammens med boblejentene, for å få ferdig nyttår invitasjonene.

Ett trykk har begynt med måneds utfordringer, også kaldt "Trykkpressa", så følg med på bloggen deres, smakebiter av de kommende nummer av bladet legges også ut der!

På Cute Card Thursday har de en utfordring om å bruke rødt og grønt, så tenkte jeg skulle sende den dit også. Blitt litt gira på slike utfordringer nå :) Så dette blir den fjerde jeg er med på.
