Velkommen til verden

After being off work for almost two weeks there was so much gorgeous new stuff that had arrived when I got back to work this week. This amazing GCS ArtStamp stamp that I have used on the card in this post was one of them. I just fell in love with it. 

Other stash used is pattern papers from Basic Greys Cappella series, text stamp, half pearls and flowers are from Inkido. The image is coloured with ProMarkers and Copics.

Easter eggs

In the last issue of Ett Trykk I was very inspired by Anne Bodil. (Check out her blog here, for more great ideas) She had made a card using glossy paper, clear embossing powder and glimmer mist. We sell the magazine at Steffens and I thought it would be nice to show some of the ideas shown in the mag in real life. So that is how this card came about. Mosaic Card

I got the inspiration to make this card after visiting the StampARTic blog. And seeing as we have the double sided glue sheet at the store I figured this would be great to bring with me to work. Its awfully empty after we took down all the Christmas cards (read: sent them out, lol) So this card can been seen live at STEFFENS, and supplies can be bought there to.

Recipe:

• Stamps: Norsk Stempelblad
• Pattern Papers:Scenic Route - Providence serie
• Embellishments: Flowers, metal corners.
• Tools: Mix of flower punches,
• Medium: Memento Ink, Glitter glue

Bind it card

I made this card to bring to the store today for the Bind it All demo, I have used the BiA to punch the blue paper to make it look like a torn out page. Supplies are Inkido stamp & papers, vintage image from Minne-hjørnet, and decorations from my stash. The supplies can be bought at Steffens.

Kort Cup # 4

FINALLY I managed to make a card for the Kort Cup over at Papirgleder. And I also managed to make a card I have been wanting to try out since I first saw it. The criteria for this challenge is to have folds, at least 3. And I think I will pass with this card!! :)

Demo Card 2

OMG I am soooo hung over I just want to roll up and go back to bed. Thank God I have the day off tomorrow!! Jessica just got picked up so now I'm off to do some crafting between my power naps!!

Demo Card

I don't know if I have posted this card before (short term memory) but its one that I made for the ProMarkers demo I had at the fair in September for Steffens.

Class card - ProMarkers

I have held two classes at Steffens this and last week. I have been really nervous about this because I think its so hard to communicate the way I colour to other people. But my students seemed happy when they went home, so hopefully I did okay! ;) I'm working on a hand out with the coloured used for the participants. So if you were at my class yesterday, please leave a comment with your e-mail (saving me some time finding them at work, lol)

Here's the card we made for the first class:

MATERIALS USED: Whiff of Joy stamp, Basic Grey - Eskimo Kisses DP, Bazzill CS, MS border punch, Irene's Garden flower, MM tiny alpha, ProMarkers, Distress - Vintage photo, and ribbon from stash.

And here's the card we made during the second class:

I'm doing two classes at DEN BLÅ HØNE on the 11th and 12th of November. (there are some open spots for the class on the 12th, contact Mona Linnes to sign up) But before that there's two PLAYING classes scheduled at STEFFENS. We will be playing with other things then colouring stamps! The classes will be held on the 5th of November and 9th of November. First day

Yeahii, my first day at my new job at Steffens in Oslo went pretty well, I had a few mistakes on the cash reg, wanted to sell someone 1200 Bazzill sheets instead of 12.. WOOOPS! But I had a pretty good day. Joachim was very nice and came to pick me up!! (Thank you very much!!)

And I got to see the new Webster X-mas papers, they are just SO gorgeous. Almost to pretty to use. Will be adding them to the web shop tomorrow so you can order them online and have them delivered by your mail man! :) If you still have not gotten your hands on some of the new ProMarkers pens, you can get them in the web shop ;) (and the old ones of course)

Cupcake Craft Challenge 58

Its Monday and as this post air's I'm sleeping in after the crafty fair this weekend! Cupcake Craft Challenge this weeks is a technique - DISTRESSING. And after coming home from the fair I was so full of inspiration, yet I ended up making a card with some left over Christmas papers from Cosmo Cricket. You can buy these paper at Steffens.

I have distressed all the edges, the old paper and sprayed it all with gold glimmer mist (okay I went crazy with the glimmer mist, hehe)

• * Embellishments: Tag, Ribbon from stash,
• * Tools: MS border punch
• * Medium: Gold embossing powder. Tom Holtz Distress ink - Vintage photo. Gold Glimmer Mist spray.
