Friday Sketchers #87 + Happy 101

Finally I had time to make another card. And this one like the previous two is made with the Basic Grey - Origins collection. I keep stacking up on paper but never use it all, so I figured I would make more then one card with it before I put it away to collect dust. I had some stamps from In2Stamps I had to ink up, and I fell in love with the Mommy's Caring stamp from the Get Well Collection. So here's my card with that stamp, made using the sketch at FRIDAY SKETCHERS.

MATERIALS USED:

• Paper: Baisc Grey - Orgins
• Medium: Memento Inkpad Tuexdo Black and ProMarkers - Cool Grey 1, 3 and 5, Meadow Green, Leaf Green, Bright Green, Tan, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Primrose, Lemon, Yellow and Blender. Distress - Vintage Photo. Glimmer Mist - Lime Twist
• Embellishments: Half pearls from Kaiser Craft, Tiny Alpha from Making Memories, Flowers from Irene's Garden (sprayed with Glimmer Mist) and Wild Orchids.
• Tools: Martha Stewart Edge Punch - Doily Lace. Spellbinders Nestabilities - Classic Scalloped Squares Large, Shapeabilities - Ribbion Tag Trio. SU corner punch.

Happy 60th

When I made the Substitute Design Team card for Sukkersøtt I also made this matching card for a 60th birthday my Granny is going to next week. I love the vintage images that Gudrun has made for Minne-Hjørnet, making a card like this one doesn't take all night.

Papers are from Basic Grey, Vintage image from Gudrun (for Minne-Hjørnet), Text stamp from Stempelglede, flowers from Wild Orchids and Irene's Garden, Bling from Prima (birthday gift from my Brother, yeahiii), lace from Ask Antikk og Interiør. The paper edges are blended with Vintage photo.

This weekend will be spent sleeping and inking up my new In2Stamp stamps, and getting ready for some more classes at Steffens. I'm having a wedding invitation and place cards class on the 10th of February. Sukkersøtt - DesignerVikar

Many of you already know of the Norwegian challenge blog called SUKKERSØTT and I was so lucky to be asked by the uber talented Camilla (from Millis hobbyverden) if I wanted to be a substitute for her this Friday. And since I love Sukkersøtt I could not say no, even though I felt a pressure to perform I was so excited.

This weeks challenge is a sketch made by Kristine. I made a card that my Grandmother had ordered as she was going to a 70th birthday. I also made a matching card for a female that I will show you over the weekend.

• Medium: Image stamped with Memento Ink, ProMarkers: Pastel Green, Soft Green, Blossom, Rose Pink, Cool Grey 1-5, Primrose, Lemon, Tan, Caramel and Cinnamon.
