MEGA CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE

Good morning crafters, we hope you are surviving the very cold weather we’re having at the moment.  It’s definitely the perfect weather for staying indoors and crafting!!  If unfortunately you do have to venture outside make sure you wrap up warm and take care on the icy roads and pavements!
We would like to stay a massive thank you for all your support for our blog hop and special challenge over the past 2 weeks.  It has been wonderful to visit all your blogs and see the fantastic talent and creativity around in blogland!  You certainly made it a blog hop to remember.  Please check back later this evening to find out if you are one of our lucky winners.  As we stated at the start of the challenge we unfortunately won’t be choosing any top 5 passionista as we will be too busy sorting out all the prize winners – I’m sure you’ll understand.

Following on from our blog hop & special challenge we now have a Mega Christmas challenge for you which will last until January 4th 2011.  I’m sure you’ll agree that the design team deserve a little break to catch up on their last minute gifts and cards.  However to make up for the lack of challenges we again have some magnificent prizes up for grabs.
Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is a nice easy one “anything goes”, just remember to use your promarkers or aqua markers to be eligible for our prizes.  Don’t forget you can enter as many times as you like and combine with any other challenges.

So now for the exciting bit – the prizes!

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS BLOG HOP

WELCOME TO THE PASSION FOR PROMARKERS BLOG HOP!!

Over at Passion for promarkers challenge this week we are celebrating the change of design teams with a blog hop.  I’m sure you are as excited as I am as there are lots of lovely goodies up for grabs!!  We also have a few new faces on the design team so I hope you will leave them a nice comment to welcome them.

Firstly if you’ve arrived at my blog from the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog you are in the right place, if not return to the challenge blog and start your hop again.  Our blog hop challenge will last for 2 weeks so you have plenty of time to enter your card (or cards) and hop around the whole design team.

Our challenge theme for the next two weeks is “old & new” i.e. a brand new stamp/digi with old papers etc.  Please can you tell us your old and new items in your post.  Don’t forget to use your promarkers or aqua markers to be included in our prize draw.

The new stash used on my card is the white poster paint pen and all the other stash is old.

As you’ve read on the challenge blog the design team are also offering some candy of their own, so please leave me a comment on this post and I will randomly draw a winner for a promarker prize courtesy of Letraset.

You also have a “mystery word” to find and my contribution is the letter “S”.  Make a note of my letter and then proceed to JULIE for the next part of the hop.  If you get lost on the hop at all just return to the challenge blog for full directions.

I just want to let you know the wonderful prizes up for grabs for our blog hop challenge:

Letraset are offering a full set of Aqua Markers to one lucky winner *woohoo*.

Cute Artsy

Connie challenged me to use a artsy background on one of my "cute" cards as she called it. And here is my attempt. Let's hope I get a pass on it when she is back from New Orleans! ;)

The background is made with two different glimmer mist, distress (and mini misters) and some household glad-pack

I'm entering this card into this weeks challenge at the LOTV blog where the theme is "Anything goes"

Thanks for looking! :)

Christmas cards

Just dropping by to show you some Christmas cards that I made with the cutest guy ever. James Bear from Lili of the Valley is officially one of my fave stamps for this holiday! :)

Skissedilla 81

I'm continuing to do things I normally don't when it comes to crafting and this time I've been scrapping.. As I'm home from work this week and I'm suppose to keep calm and not do to much.. spending time in my wonderful craft room is a great thing to make time fly! ;) So here is a layout I made with an old photo of my self for this weeks sketch @ SKISSEDILLA.

TFL! :)

Christmas with 2S4Y

Another one of my fave sketch challenge blogs is Laura and Kazan's 2 SKETCHES 4 YOU, their handmade sketches are just so great and challenge me to keep things more simple then just adding on endlessly. So with this weeks sketch I made a tea light card that I found the directions on how to make at Marianne's blog. She made a fab tutorial for StampArtic. I gave this to my grandmother and now I have to make 15 more for her friends.. *puuuuuh*

The gorgeous paper is from 3NDY PAPIR, dies from Spellbinders, flower from Prima, stamp from Inkido and charms from Kortgleder.no

Thanks for looking!

Lunch bag project #2

Here's my second project that I made with the brown paper lunch bags that we have at the store. This time I made it as a bag and decorated it with some gorgeous papers from PAPIRDESIGN, a vintage image, some gold embossing powder, distress ink coloured ribbon, charms from Kortgleder.no, stamp from Kort & Godt and punch from Martha Stewart.

Again this is not my regular style, but it was fun making something different so with two different styles from my regular one I'm hoping to capture more inspiration for this year Christmas production!

Thanks for looking and for your lovely comments girls!!

Christmas with BO BUNNY

During the last week I have created things that's really different from what I usually make, but I've had a blast doing so. I have a tendency to get stuck on the same track and just keep playing it on repeat.. But hopefully during this fall I will continue to create thing with different styles. Connie has really inspired me with her Artsy style and I blame her for my latest wish list of Tim Holtz stamps ;) I'm taking her up on her challenge to use artsy background on my "cute style" cards! So stay tuned to see how that turns out!!

But the card I want to show you is one of five projects I'm doing with brown kraft lunch bags. I have used to sheets of Bo Bunny pattern papers, a text stamp, a set of MS punches (Deco fan), Cuttlebug embossing folder and some plain card-stock to make this.
