With my brand new Sitting Sailor Oakley stamp from Whiff of Joy I made a card that will be on display at the shop, I followed SKETCH SATURDAYS latest sketch and had a great time crafting at work (yes, today I made this card AT WORK, how lucky am I, hihi)
And with the tag pulled out
I have used regular Bazzill cardstock (one canvas and one dots), pattern paper from Crate, the sentiment in the "sun" is from the STORE STAMP kit Life's Beach, tag is cut out on the Cricut machine, half pearls from Storyteller (mix pack with light blue and darker blue), ribbon from the shop, on the tag I have stamped a greeting in Norwegian using plate 27B from Norsk Stempelblad, the image is cut out with Spellbinders (Large Classic Inverted Scalloped Circle) and then I made a border punching out a long strip using my Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch and cutting it up with my sciccors to make it fold around the circle. And then I have added some black lines to fill up the card a bit with a fine liner pen from Letraset.
Thanks for looking. Check back later this week to see more cards I have made in my "blogger break" ;)
Here's a card I made for this weeks WOJ challenge, I'm also entering the DT call with this entry. I have flipped the sketch and was inspired by the wavy card that was inside the store stamp kit box. And can you believe it, I made a card without any flowers!! Hoho :)
The image is coloured with COPICS and the sky background is made with ProMarkers Airbrush (using Sky Blue and a spellbinders template), the wavy border is made with Martha Stewart - Doily Lace edge punch and the edges are blended with Distress - Vintage Photo.
Thanks for looking! If you want to buy the stamp kit stop by Steffens in Kongens gate 15, you can also see this card IRL at the shop.
Today I want to show you a card I made for Michelle, the girls at A Spoon Full of Sugar have started a card drive to cheer her up after she had an accident that left her to lose her right eye and facing a long term recovery. I thought this was such a great idea so I downloaded the free digi stamp from the Whimsy Stamps site and made a card for Michelle. I followed this weeks sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You that Laura made.
I have given my COPIC markers a try and I'm pretty content with how they work.
Thanks for looking and make sure to pop my Michelle to wish her well.
YEAHI, today is my BIRTHDAY!! I'm officially now 26 years old and very happy about it. Life is great, it is treating me well so I wish all the people around the best on my day to.
Under you can see me looking through the safari windows of an old Volkswagen bus (like the hippies used to drive) from a show I went to this weekend in Denmark. (MIB SUMMER MEET)
I also thought I would show you another card that I made for the stamp challenge in ETT TRYKK. We were to make two cards with the same stamp so I made one pink girl card and one blue boy card. I think I'm the most happy with this blue one. All the layers just make it feel lux when I hold it in my hands ;) LOL.
There's a lot of things going on during the summer when driving a bug, there are so many shows to go to. And last weekend my girl friend Therese and I went to Fredrikstad to attend the annual VW INTERNATIONALS at an old fortress. And guess who won the prize for "BEST GIRL CAR" ;)
Me, wiiiiii :)
Thanks for looking and have a great SUMMER everyone and thanks for all the comments!
I was published in the latest issue of the Norwegian card magazine, Ett Trykk. I was challenged to do the stampchallenge and got a stamp from Nellie Snellen sponsored by Kortgleder to play with. For detailed product info please check out the magazine on page 82. Here's one of the cards I made:
Thanks for looking and have a great summer! I'll be all around Europe having fun this summer and I'm so looking forward to cruising in the old bug and seeing old friends. On Thursday I leave for Skagen in Denmark to celebrate my birthday and attend a Volkswagen show.
