Cupcake Craft Challenge 49

This week at Cupcake Craft Challenge Paula has set the challenge to making a Christmas card, and that was not only only, but but (inside Petter Solberg joke). I had to find my Christmas stash and it was at the back of all my other stash so I ended up cleaning up under my desk, with some inspiration from Nina who cleaned and redecorated her craft room.

Enough rambeling, here's my card for this weeks challenge:

I have used Bazzill CS, Basic grey & Nille DP, High Hopes Santa stamp, Spellbinders, pom pom ribbon, snowflake ribbon (Thank you Cecilie for the RAK) Word window punch for the sentiments (also stamps from High Hopes), Martha Stewart border punch and some Glimmer Mist to give it the Christmas feel! :)

Thanks for looking and I hope you will join us in this challenge!! :)

Cupcake Craft Challenge 48

I almost forgot to make this post (schedule it) as I'm so caught up in the fact that it's by birthday. Hehe. I'm such a baby when it comes to things like this!

BUT, as Donna has taken over the Cupcake Craft Challenge blog we can still play on every Monday and this Monday Liza has set the challenge and she wants to see BLOSSOMS & BUTTERFLIES. And I wanted to make something bright and this it how it ended up:

Inside is a spiral that opens up when you open the card and folds back together when you close it

I have used Bazzill CS, Basic Grey DP, Prima Build a Frame stamp set (butterfly), Ladybug and Friends sentiment stamp, Kort & Godt sentiment on the inside, QK butterfly, pink butterfly from Nille and blue & green ink.

Jeg vil også slenge inn dette kortet til Sukkersøtt sin sommer utfordring #1 hvor tema var nettopp sommer, og disse friske flotte fargene syns jeg passer fint til det :)

Thanks for looking and make sure you visit the other DT members blogs to see their gorgeous cards for this challenge :)

Cupcake Craft Challenge 47 - B&W

Remember my last Cupcake post where I told you that the blog was closing down? Well the lovely Donna Barber has offered to take over the blog so that we can keep having these lovely challenges every Monday! How great is that!! :) Lets give her a big welcome as the new owner of CCC and also we need to thank Lauren for creating CCC for all of us to join and have fun with! :)

For this weeks challenge it is Lisa who has chosen a theme of BLACK & WHITE. I made a card for a friend, I did not want to over do it with stash so I kept it simple with just some flowers. This is how it turned out:

I have used Bazzill CS, DP from scraps, Flowers from stash and the friends sentiment is from Stempleglede cut out with QK nestie.

Thanks for looking and I look forward to seeing your B&W creations! :)

Cupcake Craft Challenge 46 - SUMMER!!

This weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge is set by Kathrin and she chose Summer..

"Summer has finally arrived - but here in Germany we had and still have way too much rain and temperatures too low. So, please bring the summer to us, proove me that it has really arrived by making some sunny, happy summer cards - whatever summer means to you."

So for this challenge I made another card to send out with my Pay it Forward "challenge", and that turned out like this:

See my tablecards post for description as I have used the scraps from there!

This weeks sponsor if Simon Says Stamp and they are offering a $20 gift voucher for one lucky winner, so join in and get a chance at winning to do some SSS shopping ;)

Next weeks challenge will be the last one in CCC history as Lauren has decided to close the blog done because she just does not have the time to run it anymore. And I think we all pretty much can relate to that, right? So let's make CCC go out with a BANG, I want to see everyone joining in and making it a great close down!!!

And I want to give a big thank you to Lauren for having me on her design team! It has been great and the challenges has been right up my ally ;)

Cupcake Craft CHallenge 42 - Fairies

Monday means Cupcake time again :) The last week has gone by like crazy and I hope the good weather hasn't distracted you to much from getting the time to make a card or two! This week Evelina has set the challenge and she wants to see fairies. And I must say this was a great challenge for me since I did not have any fairy stash. But I got to thinking of Joachim telling me that Tinkerbell could talk, so I looked up a coloring page and printed it on 270g Letraset paper so I could color it with my ProMarkers.

So this is how my fairies card turned out:

For this card I used Bazzill cardstock, DCWV DP, Coloringpage with Tinkerbell colored with ProMarkers: Blush, Dusky Pink, Lime Green, Mustard and Ivory, Glitterglue on the wings, Spellbinders Label one, flowers from stash, QK leafes. ribbon from stash and homemade "gratulerer" (congratulations) stamp made with Quik Stamps.

Pop on over to the CUPCAKE CRAFT CHALLENGE blog to see all the lovely cards from the other Design Team ladies.

And if you haven't already, join my blog candy. It runs until June 15th.
