Passion for ProMarkers Week 49

My home made flower is inspired by Gudrun from 3ndy as she was showing me how to make different paper flowers some weeks ago. I have used regular copy paper to make the flower and mounted them on a circle, then sprayed the whole thing with Glimmer Mist. My leaves are a bit bold so I might do them thinner for my next flower, but it was fun to make something other then the retro flowers!

Passion for ProMarkers Week 48

My weekend workshop @ PFP

Welcome to this weeks Digi Friday. Today I (Ida) will show you how I have coloured my image for next weeks challenge. The image is sponsored by POLLY CRAFT. As we get to choose the image I just had to get this cute little kitten "Blossoming Friendship from the Spring Things series.

• I start by colouring the cat with the lightest colour I want to use (Warm grey 1). I then add two layers of shades with Warm Grey 2 and 3. To make them blend together I colour over my image again using the lightest of my shades, Warm Grey 1. I use small circle motions to better wet the areas where there are shades.
  

• I do the same when colouring the three, flowers and grass. I use the lightest of the shades in the colours I want to use, and then I add a darker colour to make the shades. Before I go over the image with the lightest of my colours
• On the little cute bird I have just added a orange mouth and used Warm Grey 1 to add some shadows, before I've gone over the image with the Blender pen. I usually don't use the blender pen, but for areas you want to blend to white it works great!

ProMarkers classes @ SteinkjerScrepp{a}

This weekend I travelled to Steinkjer to attend SteinkjerScrepp{a} (a craft meeting hosted by my good friend Torill). While I was there I held three ProMarkers classes, a small one for Torill and her cute helpers on Friday and two full classes on Saturday and Sunday. I had such a great time and want to thank everyone for making it a fabulous weekend, thanks to all my "students" and all the lovely girls/ladies I got a chance to meet. I'm all booked for next year and cannot wait :)

And these talented ladies attended my class on Saturday. They were all so engaged and made my job so easy. Thanks for being so sweet and inspiring! :)

And here's all the girls/ladies that attended my class on Sunday, they look pretty happy using ProMarkers don't you think? :)

Thank you to everyone who attended my classes this weekend. You helped me get inspired and motivated about my colouring and crafting again after a period with low motivation. So happy to have fun again when I craft!!

Passion for ProMarkers Week 47

This weeks challenge at PASSION FOR PROMARKERS is to make your own background with Pro Markers. (set by me, wiiii) Some of you may recognise my image from the Weekend Workshop at PfP. (if not, have a look here!) I have made a picture frame and coloured my background with green and blue to make it into a scene. As it was a bit boring I stamped some cute birds on it and added some flowers for more dimension.

Signs of Spring

Yesterday was a GREAT day. I had my new wheels mounted on my 1959 Volkswagen Bug and my friend Joachim took some snap shots when I was test driving with the new wheels. My Mom says the car looks more girlie with the new wheels, what do you think?

Taking the bug out from the garage is a true sign of spring so I'm truly looking forward to all the fun trips and cruising I will have with my friends in my bug this summer!!
