Cupcake Craft Challenge 44 - Fathers Day / Male

This weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge is set by Jeanette and her challenge is:

As it's getting close to Fathers Day I thought a Fathers Day card would be appropriate, but there's a slight twist in that it has to be more than a card. You can interpret that any way you want to. If it's not Fathers Day in your neck of the woods then a card for a Man (any man) will do. Have fun and I can't wait to see your creations.

Here's my creation:



So I made a male card since Fathers Day here in Norway is not until the second weekend in November I made a gift for my uncle who is turning 40 this month. Since it had to be anything BUT a card I made a bottle jacket with papers from MME, stamp from Hänglar and thikers from American Crafts, the sentiment is a rubon from Norsk Stempelblad. He likes things simple so theres no fluffy stash on this one :)

Stampin' for the Weekend - Going Digital

This weeks challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend is to use a digi stamp on our cards, and I just love the Dustin Pike digi stamps so I had to use it. Here's how my card turned out:

I used Bazzill CS, Papirdesign and Imaganise DP, Swirls and leaf from QK, flowers from Papirloftet, Digi Stamp from Dustin Pike and its colored with ProMarkers: Cool Grey 1,2,3 Rose Pink, Blossom, Ivory and Yellow, stamp from stash, metal charms, Lavender ink and white outline pen.

Cupcake Craft Challenge 43 - Color combo

Monday always means Cupcake Craft Day and this week it was my turn to set the challenge. I wanted to do a color combo of some bright and freshly looking colors, and I also wanted the cards/projects to be made for boys/girls. Here's the colors:

Sorry for it taking so long, all out of batteries, computer didn't want to work with me, had to take Joachim to Oslo in the morning. But better late then never.

Home sweet home..

I'm HOME!!! And my oh my it feels good! drove about 900km this weekend, saw a lot of volkswagen, meet my lovely Swedish and Norwegian bug friends, I even danced on the table, hehe. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that my card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge tomorrow is going to be a couple of hours late, seeing as I'm all out of batteries for ALL (yes all of them) three cameras. So will have to charge them tonight and get a picture of the card tomo morning! (and since tomorrow is my challenge that is quite embarrassing)

Stampin' for the Weekend LAUNCH!!

Today is the launch of the Stampin' for the Weekend blog. The blog will try to have different challenges then every other one out there and we start it off with a color combo challenge. The first challenge is called "From Dusk till Dawn" and for this you need to make a card using the colors Purple & Yellow.

I made a birthday card for my friend Maritha and this is how it turned out:

I have used Bazzill CS, DCWV DP, ribbon from stash, prima flowers, spellbinders nesties label 1, gorjuss girl stamp, KH sentiment stamp, CB dots embossing folder and Autum Leaves swirls stamp on the corners. Images is colored with ProMarkers: Blush, Dusky Pink, Sandstone, Cinnamon, Lavender, Lilac and Yellow.
