Cupcake Craft Challenge 38 - 5 different embellishments

Here's my card for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge. The challenge is to use 5 different embellishments on your card. And boy that was hard, I struggled with this one and didn't finish it until late last night. The different embellishments I have used are, flowers, metal charm, ribbion, thickers, tiny alpha, scrappers floss, brads and eyelets. So that makes 8!

2S4Y DT CALL

Laura and Kazan has given me permission to show you the cards I made for the DT Call at 2 Sketches 4 You. I love their blog and their sketches are my fave. And they always leave such heart warming comments!

This is a small gift bag that I made for my friend Beate, she has just started making cards so I wanted to give her some stamped images, so I filled the bag up with that as she was VERY happy to receive it. I'm so in love with the colors on this bag (as you might have noticed) they are just so warming!!

For the other sketch I made a 15x15 card for a friend that makes me smile. I haven't given it away yet, so one of you watching this might just be the one to get it! ;)

So I'm crossing my fingers, legs and anything that can be crossed that I make the DT. It would be such a joy and adventures. I love the 2S4Y challenges and all the DT girls are so creative and inspiring!! Wish me LUCK!! :)

My little helper

Today I was lucky to get a visit from my friend Beate and her adorable son Lloyd. He is one of my favorite boys because he is always so happy and gives me the cutes smile!! :) He fell in love with my Cuttlebug machine and I wanted to show you just how adorable he is! :)



I think I have to get him a Cuttlebug Kids!! :)

Just Magnolia Week 1 - Sketch

Just a quick post before I'm off to bed. I made another card tonight, this one is for the Just Magnolia challenge. The There are so many birthdays coming up in may so it's nice to stock up on cards and not have to worry about that like I usually do five min. before I have to go to a party :p My take is all pink and my first attempt to make a card with Bazzils craft color paper.
I also used DP from MME Grow & Bloom, flowers are from Prima and Nille, blings from Prima, circle is embossed with Cuttlebug, glitterglue, Congratulations stamp, Butterfly metal charm, Scrappers floss, green stalk from the mulberry flowers and my sewing machine.

Simon Says - Recycling Challenge

Over at the Simon Says blog there is a challenge to use something recycled. I have been saving some tin boxes from candy and thought this would be a great opportunity to decorate one of them. Since I don't know how is getting the box I have only written "to" (til in norwegian) on the top. This is my first time joining the challenge at SS.

So any suggestions to what I can fill it with???

Cupcake Craft Challenge 36 - Sketch

It's Monday again and that means Cupcake time!!! This weeks challenge is a wonderful sketch. I had some new MME papers that I wanted to try out and with having a bad week some bright and colorful papers helped me cheer up! :) To make this card I have used Bazzil and MME papers, ribbon, metal charm, rub-ons, scrappers floss and a cute girl from the Magnolia that I've colored with ProMarkers. The flower & leaves on the top are part of the MME paper set Bloom & Grow, also the label on the inside. Hope you like my card :)

My week(end) update

Sorry for not posting anything in some days now. I have been to tired and sad to get anything done. My grandmother is still in the hospital and it does not look very good for her to survive, so my motivation had been really bad. But today I have decided to get crafting again and try to make some cards. A nice thing is that she has kept my Get Well card at the hospital with her by the bed, all the other things she has received she has sent home!

On a another note I have received an Award that I would like to share with you. Thank you Angie for giving it to me, it made a day a lot happier!! :)

2S4Y - Kazan's Sketch 24

Very soon confirmations start here in Norway so I have to make some cards for that, but my mojo haven't been all that great lately, but today I finally managed to make a card! I used Kazan's sketch. On the card I have used the Maribell stamp from Stempelglede (thanks for Livi & Sille for the print, think I'll have to ask them for more of this gorgeous girl), Bazzill and DCWV papers, the sentiment (don't remember where it's from)is hanging down with scrappersfloss, Retro flower punch, Mulberry flower, Pin from Plantasjen, Martha Stewart border punch and "rips"ribbion.

And make sure you stop by 2 sketches 4 you as they have a DT Call for the summer turn now, I'm sure going to submit an application! Cause 2S4Y is one of my fave's!!!!!!

Sign of spring..

.. finally a sign of spring! :) Today its raining so I hope most of the remaining snow will melt away and that spring can bloom! I have made a new brush for my photo's to. This time with the correct blog address this time. I just noticed the other day that it was the wrong address. Oops. But now its new and refurbished with the correct URL! :)

Cupcake Craft Challenge 35 - 1 Layer

Good morning everyone (Yes its almost noon and I just got up, but its the last day of easter break so I had to sleep in, hihi) Since its Monday again that means a new card for me to show you. This weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge was to make a card with only one layer other then your card stock and image. And it was a hard one, I surfed the web, tutorilas and everything before I decided to try out the beautiful Build-a-Frame stamp set that Joachim got me some weeks ago and I masked and stamped and colored a whole day I think. Since I don't aim to well, there were alot of way off resultats until I was pretty OK happy with the result! :) The angel on the card is a hänglar cuteii! I have colored the image with ProMarkers.

Sukkersøtt #35

This week's (and next) challenge over at the Norwegian Sukkersøtt blog is a sketch made by the talented and creative Kristine. I had colored the image and had som scraps I thought I would get rid of so I made a card with them! :) I'm getting better and better at using scraps, good thing cause I have tons of them :p (who doesn't??) For the card I have used bazzil CS, embossed the orange paper with Cuttlebug (Thanks Joanne for getting me this wonderful machine!!), the stamp I have made with QK stamp, flowers are from Prima and the brown small pines at the bottom corner are from my aunt, old buttom from my grandmother, a folder top QK die, and MS doily lace punch, the image is colored with ProMarkers. Again I have to thank Liv Irene & Silje so much for the prints, its like having tons of new stamps to use, I LOVE IT!! :) Here's my card, leave me comment if you like it! :)

Sorry for the bad pictures today, Joachim is outside in the garage test fitting his new summer rims for the Golf, hehe. So my cards and I come second today. But I cant get my pictures taken for me everyday right.. ;p

Friday Sketchers - 46

With the prints I got yesterday I made another card. I wanted this to be for a kid so I couldn't flower it up to much! I used a sketch over at Friday Sketchers. Not too happy about the result but.. Once I get some dinner I'll maybe be in my mojo again! :) I have been coloring images today and washing some laundry as it is Monday again. Its not easter holiday until Wednesday so have to keep on with the choir's until then. But I have been sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine for a while today. Even though I have the worst cough I couldn't resist ;) Joachim brought me home some medisin so I'll get better soon! Anyways here's my card:

DT - Cupcake Craft Challenge 34 - Folds

FINNALY I can show you my card for this weeks challenge at CCC. The challenge is to make something with more then two folds, and it was a hard one considering I usually make 15x15cm cards. Hehe. But I'm pretty happy with my fun folding card, I found a tutorial at youtube and for this card I have used a My Mind Eye's DP, ribbion from Søstrene Grene, stamp from Kort & Godt, Thickers from American Crafts, Bazzil CS, some old flowers my Aunt gave me, and 5 folds!

Cupcake Craft Challenge 33 - Sketch

I had to join in on the last CCC challenge before my DT term starts. So in the last minute I made this card. I just had to use one of the prints that Liv Irene & Silje gave me tonight. It was a envelop full of wonderful prints of stamps they know I don't have. Thank you both so much!! I'm very proud to say I got them hooked on making cards ;) Make sure you visit their blog to see their adorable cards!!

Over to the card, I used bazzil CS and Basic Grey DP, some Prima flowers, ribbion from Søstrene Grene, Border punch from Martha Stewart (I want more, they are just great) and a Whipper Snapper image if I'm not mistaken!?! (not 100% sure) and a Made with love metal charm.

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 54

Today my Aunt Grete was here for a visit and we tested out some easter boxes. They didn't turn out so good so there wont be any pictures of that. But with the scraps from the box project I made a card that was perfect for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, citrus colors. Hot Pink, Lime, Lemon and Orange, and all my scraps had that. I made the front window with a transparent sheet and a piece of design paper in the back. Added some Prima flowers and American Craft thickers and wolla a card from scraps :) The inside of the card says Happy Easter in Norwegian. I'm going to give this card to my grandmother as she is in the hospital and not very well. Anyways, here's the card. Let me know what you think and have a great weekend! :)

I took out my slug bug today and Joachim was taking some pictures of it, when I decided I wanted to be in a photo too :) Its a wonderful feeling to take the car out into the sunshine and blow the dust away! Pink Invitations

The London trip picture keep hauling it out as I'm on very low saving capacity on the computer I'm using (since my lap top is broken) so the pics will have to wait, but some cards I can show :)

I made some simple invitations for Joachim's sister Camilla, its for her little girls name party. So off course it had to be pink :) I wanted to make them clean and simple since there about 20 of them to be made. Let me know if you like them or not :)

I have submitted my first DT material for CCC and it will be up on the 6th of April over at the Cupcake Craft Challenge Blog. So make sure to pay attention next Monday for a great challenge!
